DVD: INDONESIEN - EXKURSION

Im Dezember 2019 unternahm die Filmklasse der HBK eine Exkursion nach Indonesien. Als erstes besuchten wir die langjährige Partnerhochschule der HBK, das Institut Teknologi in Bandung (ITB). Dort wurde ein fünftägiger Workshop durchgeführt, bei dem deutsche und indonesische Studierende in enger Zusammenarbeit insgesamt fünf Video-Projekte realisierten. Diese Workshop-Filme bilden das Kernstück auf dieser DVD. Hinzu kommen mehrere kurze Arbeiten, die vorbereitend zur Exkursion (ID-Trailer) oder während bzw. kurz nach der Reise als Souvenirs der Exkursion in der Filmklasse entstanden sind.
In December 2019, the HBK Film Class went on an excursion to Indonesia. We first visited a longstanding partner institution of the HBK, the Institut Teknologi in Bandung (ITB). Here a five-day workshop was conducted, in which German and Indonesian students worked closely together to realize five video projects in total. These workshop films form the core of this DVD. In addition, there are several short works that were created in preparation for the excursion (ID trailers), during the trip, or soon thereafter, as souvenirs of the visit.

DVD - Vice Versa Video & CheUn Dalou

Im März 2015 unternahm die Filmklasse eine Exkursion nach Athen. Die Filmklasse wurde von 'Moving Silence Athen' in Kooperation mit dem Goethe-Institut Athen eingeladen und veranstaltete zusammen mit dem Projektraum 'Circuits & Currents' der Athens School of Fine Arts einen Workshop ('Vice Versa'). – Die Ergebnisse dieses fünftägigen Workshops sind auf der vorliegenden DVD veröffentlicht. Außerdem enthält die DVD einen Episodenfilm der Filmklasse ('CheUn Dalou'), der im Wintersemester 2014/15 realisiert wurde.
Die 19 'Vice Versa Videos' und der 'CheUn Dalou' wurden am 16. März 2015 im Rahmen der 'Moving Silence' Veranstaltungen live vertont. Dieser Live-sound bildet nun die Grundlage für den Soundtrack der vorliegenden DVD.
In March 2015, the HBK Film Class undertook an excursion to Athens. The Film Class was invited by the Moving Silence Festival of Athens in cooperation with the Goethe Institute of Athens, and held a workshop called “Vice Versa” with the Circuits & Currents project space of the Athens School of Fine Arts. – The results of this five-day workshop are published on the present DVD. This DVD contains also an episode film by the Film Class Braunschweig ('CheUn Dalou'), which was realized during the winter semester 2014/15.
The 19 'Vice Versa Videos' and the 'CheUn Dalou' were publicly screened on 16 March 2015 with live sound at the Moving Silence events. This live audio forms the soundtrack of the present DVD.
