Vom 03. bis zum 18. Dezember 2025 unternahm die Filmklasse der HBK eine Exkursion nach Japan. Teilnehmer*innen der Exkursion waren neun Studierende und der Professor der Filmklasse, Michael Brynntrup. Insgesamt haben wir drei Städte besucht: Kyoto, Osaka und Tokyo. Vor Ort haben wir nicht nur die World Heritage Sites, die bedeutendsten Kunstmuseen des Landes und z.B. die Tokyo Art Book Fair kennengelernt, sondern trafen auch die Filmmaker Coop 'Calling' zu einem gegenseitigen Filmscreening. In Kyoto erhielten wir zudem eine Campustour an unserer Partnerhochschule Seika, und im renommierten Image Forum Tokyo hatten wir Gelegenheit, aktuelle Arbeiten der Filmklasse zu präsentieren.
From 3 to 18 December 2025, the HBK film class went on an excursion to Japan. Nine students and the professor of the film class, Michael Brynntrup, took part in the excursion. We visited three cities in total: Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo. While there, we not only got to know the World Heritage Sites, the country's most important art museums and, for example, the Tokyo Art Book Fair, but also met the filmmakers Coop “Calling” for a mutual film screening. In Kyoto, we were also given a campus tour at our partner university Seika, and at the renowned Image Forum Tokyo, we had the opportunity to present the film class's current work.
